Nomura Farm | Miyagawa Morning Market (Asaichi) in Hida Takayama

Nomura Farm grows vegetables and rice in Hida Takayama Kokufu Town.

We grow “traditional vegetables” that have been eaten in Hida for a long time, and also colorful and beautiful “Western vegetables (Italian vegetables / French vegetables)”.

We grow most of our vegetables“without pesticides and chemical fertilizers”.

Our fertilizers are made from natural resources such as wild grasses, weeds, tree roots and even old vegetables.
Our crops are grown with the help of many insects such as dragonflies, earthworms, mantis, frogs, swallows sparrows, and other small animals and birds.

For our rice we use bicides only one time because it is very difficult to grow without any. Currently, we are trying to grow without using chemical fertilizers.

Nomura Farm opens a stall in Hida Takayama's “Miyagawa Morning Market”

Nomura Farm stall is opened at the morning market.
We sell fresh vegetables picked in the morning and homemade pickles, so please drop by if you are near.

Morning market branch calendar

We open the stall in the morning market almost every day, but sometimes we closed.
If you are looking for our vegetables, please check our schedule before coming.

Please note that business hours change depending on the season.
January to March 8:00 to 12:00
April to December 7:00 to 12:00

* Depending on the day's weather (heavy rain, heavy snow, strong wind, etc.) and the harvest situation of crops, it may be temporarily closed.

Morning market location

It is a 10 minutes walk from the JR Takayama Station. Our stall is located in the morning market along Miyagawa river.

* Until March 2020, the location of the stall will be uncertain to build the new bridge.

Panove | Bakery Bakery

The bakery kneads the dough and bakes the bread.
Their bread really brings out the full favour of the wheat.
There are a wide variety of breads and every bread is superb!

They also use our vegetables to make the bread.
Here, you can enjoy the bread with traditional and western vegetables such as poaro green onion, corn, edamame, kokufu eggplant, green peas, etc.

This is a original Italian restaurant witch uses fresh local vegetables, wild vegetables, Hida beef and fruits.
There are over 60 different dishes for both dinner, and lunch!
This restaurant is popular among women, because it has a good atmoshere.

Nomura Farm's vegetables are used in their salads and basil sauces.
They also cook traditional vegetables “Kokufu eggplant”, so please try them.
